Day 1 NARITA – CHITOSE ARRIVAL – SAPPORO (–/–/D)
Upon arrival at Narita Airport you will be taking the domestic flight to Chitose by yourself. Upon arrival in Chitose Airport, meet and greet by your guide and transfer to your hotel in Sapporo. Enjoy your Bento Box Dinner.
Day 2 SAPPORO SNOW FESTIVAL – ASAHIKAWA (B/L/D)
After breakfast inside the hotel, proceed to your Sapporo City Tour. First, visit the FORMER HOKKAIDO GOVERNMENT OFFICE BUILDING, which is also known as the “Red Brick” because it is literally made of thousands of red bricks. Visit also the CLOCK TOWER, which is a symbol of Sapporo and has been designated as an important cultural property with small museum. Proceed to ODORI PARK, largest street in the center of Sapporo and enjoy the SAPPORO SNOW FESTIVAL, one of Japan’s largest winter events attracting a growing number of visitors. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Next, have free time at SAPPORO BANKEI SKI AREA where you can try various snow activities such as Ski, Sled, Tubing and more (Snow wear, boots, ski or snow board rental are optional). Dinner will be served at a local restaurant then transfer to the hotel and check in.
Day 3 ASAHIKAWA – SOUNKYO (B/L/D)
After breakfast inside the hotel, drive to Asahikawa and visit the ASAHIKAWA WINTER FESTIVAL. It has one of the biggest snow sculptures which varies each year with different themes. There are also several other snow activities such as snow slides, snowmobile rides, horse drawn sleigh rides and an ice bar. Next, proceed to ASAHIYAMA ZOO which is home to 700 animals of 124 different species, including animals that live in cold regions, such as polar bears, Amur leopards, and Scops owls and penguins. Visit HOKKAIDO ICE PAVILION, the biggest facility in the world to experience winter season in Hokkaido for all year. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Transfer to the hotel and check in. Then, have free time at SOUNKYO ICE LIGHT UP FESTIVAL. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Day 4 SOUNKYO – OTARU (B/L/D)
After breakfast inside the hotel, proceed to Otaru and visit OTARU CANAL, one of the famous sights in the city and has been developed as a walkway. It is lit at night by gas lamps and walkway lights. Next, visit OTARU MUSIC BOX MUSEUM, one of the largest museum shops of music boxes, orgel, in Japan. The beautiful century-old building, designated as one of historic landmarks of Otaru City, is full of music boxes in various sizes and types. Visit also KITAICHI GLASS FACTORY, you will be fascinated by glass tableware, accessories and art works of high quality and enjoy the gentle warmth and delicacy which can be created only by skilled craftsmen. Transfer back to the hotel in Sapporo and have free time until dinner. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Then, have free time at Odori Park to enjoy night view of SAPPORO SNOW FESTIVAL.
Day 5 SAPPORO – CHITOSE DEPARTURE (B/–/–)
You will be given a cash refund for your breakfast then meet the English Speaking Guide and proceed to Chitose Airport. Upon arrival at Haneda Airport, meet your assistant who will take you SHISUI PREMIUM OUTLET for last minute shopping. Lunch will be on your own arrangement. Lastly, transfer to Narita Airport for your flight back to Manila.
