Day 1 CHITOSE ARRIVAL – SAPPORO (B/L/D)
Upon arrival at Chitose Airport, meet your English speaking guide. You will be given a bento box for your breakfast. Visit the SAPPORO TV TOWER then proceed to ODORI PARK, the heart of Sapporo’s festival life and the center of city outdoor activity. Have a photo stop at CLOCK TOWER, known by many as the symbol of the city. Next, move to HITSUJIGAOKA OBSERVATION HILL, a famous scenic spot with the bronze statue of Dr. William S. Clark who is well known as the symbol of frontier spirit of Hokkaidō. Then, proceed to TAKINO REIEN, where you can find the Buddha Statue known as the symbol of Makomanai Takino Cemetery. Have free time roaming around SUSUKINO, a red light district in Sapporo then proceed to TANUKIKOJI SHOPPING STREET for free time shopping. Dinner will be at a local restaurant. Transfer to the hotel and check in.
Day 2 SAPPORO – ASAHIKAWA – FURANO (B/L/D)
After breakfast inside the hotel, check out and meet the English Speaking Guide. A cash refund will be given for your lunch at the ASAHIKAWA RAMEN VILLAGE, get to taste authentic ramen of your choice! Visit ASAHIYAMA ZOO, which is home to 700 animals of 124 different species, including animals that live in cold regions, such as polar bears, Amur leopards, and Scops owls and penguins.
Transfer to Furano, (OCT) BLUE POND, a man-made water feature. It is the result of works on the Biei River, carried out after the eruption of Mount Tokachi, to protect the town of Biei from volcanic mudflows. (NOV/DEC) Transfer to FURANO CHEESE FACTORY. Here you will have a chance to create cheese! Move to FURANO MARCHE for free time shopping, where you can buy their local products.
Then have time to see NINGLE TERRACE, an impressive collection of boutique cottages, housing specialty arts and crafts. Enjoy watching the locals sitting in their shops and making their products as you wander around the shops. Don’t miss to taste the famous Furano Bake Milk. Lastly, transfer to your hotel in Furano for an overnight stay. Dinner will be served inside the hotel.
Day 3 FURANO – OTARU (B/L/D)
After breakfast inside the hotel, check out and meet the English Speaking Guide. Visit YOICHI NIKKA DISTILLERY one of Japan’s top whisky makers. Next, proceed to the OTARU CANAL, an 1140 meter-long canal located on the central part of the city’s busy port. Then, visit the KITAICHI GLASS FACTORY where you can find a variety of beautiful glasswares. Next, move to OTARU MUSIC BOX MUSEUM, the biggest music box specialty shop in Japan. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Have free time shopping at SAKAIMACHI SHOPPING STREET. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Transfer to the hotel and check in.
Day 4 OTARU – NOBORIBETSU – SAPPORO (B/L/D)
After breakfast inside the hotel, check out. Proceed to LAKE TOYA for a short photo stop. Then experience MT. USU ROPEWAY that will bring you close to the volcano’s summit. The upper station’s observation deck offers panoramic views of Lake Toya and neighboring Showa Shinzan. Visit MT. USU BEAR FARM where you can see and interact with the Brown Bears. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Visit NOBORIBETSU JIGOKUDANI HELL VALLEY, the exploded crater of about 450m and it is also the origin of the Noboribetsu onsen, which is gushing than 3,000 liters per minute of hot springs. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Transfer to the hotel and check in.
Day 5 FREE DAY (B/–/–)
After breakfast inside the hotel, enjoy free time leisure on your own. No service. No guide.
Day 6 CHITOSE DEPARTURE (B/–/–)
After breakfast (boxed meal), check out then transfer to Chitose Airport for your flight back to Manila.
